Welcome to the new edition of pn, keeping you informed of the latest developments from the NPC. Included in this issue is a look at the new charity status of the NPC and its implications, and an introduction to the NPCs new General Secretary. We will also be covering the main issues to be discussed at the Cardiff OGM including a look at the results from the survey of postgraduate funding and priorities.
Over the next few months I will be contacting postgraduate officers to ask for help in getting news of national importance directly to postgraduates through student newspapers and newsletters, if you can help please let me know, and dont forget to check out the website at www.npc.org.uk.
