If you are (or have recently been) a postgraduate research student and/or have access to email lists through which you can reach postgraduate research students, we would be very grateful if you could respond to this survey or disseminate as appropriate.
The National Postgraduate Committee in collaboration with the UK GRAD Programme (http://www.grad.ac.uk) is undertaking a survey on progress review methods for postgraduate research students. We wish to investigate the research student's perception on how their six monthly/annual reports (or whatever progress review system they use) works for their benefit or whether it is simply a bureaucratic process used by the institution.
The online survey can be found at http://www.npc.org.uk/review-survey. The first section takes only 3 minutes to fill in, with further questions that are optional that would amount to approximately 8 minutes to fill in. As many responses to this questionnaire from postgraduate research students would be gratefully appreciated.
